TENSTAR: Nova win the VCT Game Changers I: EMEA!

by Dominic Widdop | October 03, 2021

TENSTAR: Nova defeated Rix.GG Lightning in a dominant performance in the first-ever VCT Game Changers: EMEA tournament.

After a hugely successful boot camp TENSTAR: Nova managed to overcome teams such as The Originals and STELLAR to become Game Changers champions.

In a thrilling 3-1 series Nova defeated an impressive Rix.GG roster and secured their place in VALORANT history.

Game Changers: EMEA marked the first official Riot hosted tournament that focused on women and marginalised genders and included established VALORANT organisations such as Rix.gg, TENSTAR, and Oxygen.

On the momentous victory TENSTAR General Manager Sydney Meral said:

I am so proud of the girls and all they have achieved over the course of the tournament. The boot camp was an unreal experience that has strengthened us even further as a team.

Being a part, and being champions of such an important stepping stone in fair competition for women and marginalised genders is an honour and I speak on behalf of all of TENSTAR in thanking the other teams and Riot Games for their contribution.

This is just the beginning.

This victory marks another VALORANT title for TENSTAR: Nova and TENSTAR as an organisation after just 5 months in operation.

Congratulations to - Nelo, Lirilia, Ninou, Cla, and Sliicyy for solidifying TENSTAR: Nova as the best GC team in EMEA!
