Redbull Home Ground #2 Round Up

TENSTAR's main VALORANT roster managed to overcome some of the EU's finest talent to place 4th in the second Redbull Home ground.

TENSTAR beat out teams such as LDN UTD and Team BDS to beat their seeding and come 4th in a tournament of VALORANT heavyweights.

Here is a round-up of TENSTAR VALORANT'S Redbull Home ground #2

Group Game 1 vs Team BDS - Score 13-10 

The first match of the tournament saw TENSTAR taking on TEAM BDS for their first match against each other since a 2-1 series win in July's VCT.

TENSTAR managed to secure a tight victory on Split with dominant attacking display.


Group Game 2 vs Natus Vincere- Score 13-9

The second game saw TENSTAR take on FPS heavyweights Natus Vincere for the first time. TENSTAR and Natus have battled it out on the Rainbow Six severs but this marked their first VALORANT clash.

In an absolute masterclass from Russ TENSTAR managed to take Haven and move into the final game of the group undefeated. 


Group Game 3 vs Acend - Score 9-13

The final group stage game saw TENSTAR battle EU powerhouse Ascend on Haven.

Despite some close rounds and even an early lead TENSTAR fell to Acend 9-13.



Quarter Final vs LDN UTD - Score 13-6, 13-11

After losing 3-0 in LVP Rising Series #3 TENSTAR came into this series as underdogs with LDN on a hot streak after picking up a new roster.

TENSTAR snapped back with a dominant 13-6 bind performance and a 13-11 Split win cementing them as the better UK VALORANT org.

Semi Final vs Team Liquid - Score 8-13, 9-13

In the semi final TENSTAR faced TL who remained unbeaten since picking up Nivera, 

Despite taking the lead on both maps TENSTAR fell to TL on both Haven and Icebox.

Losers Final vs Vodafone Giants - 8-13, 10-13

TENSTAR faced GIANTS for the 4th time in 2021 in a battle for 3rd place. 

They lost to an impressive GIANTS Haven with a couple of unlucky clutch rounds costing them the map.

On Fracture TENSTAR fought back from 10-2 down to a 10-13 win showing heart as they eventually took 4th place in the second Redbull Home ground!
